Parsing iCalendar .ics files

Just started hacking on a parser (in Python) for iCalendar .ics files.

Hmm - looks like steintr has got a C parser called libical. Those links are quite old though.

Here we go: libical homepage and Using Libical.

It seems that Evolution supports the .ics format. Can anybody confirm that for me?
