Ecosystem vs Google
I've been seeing lots of interesting Google referrers leading people to cached copies of people's blogs recently. The cache is just there for debugging, and I've put a note in my robots.txt to tell Google not to cache it (I don't want people to complain I'm stealing their traffic or republishing their work), but that won't take effect until the next update.
The above link is interesting: I've caught it rather than the original blog because the searcher is specifically searching for a site in New Zealand (that's the site:.nz bit at the end of the search string). My domain is in New Zealand, but the blog I'm caching isn't, so I show up in the search response.
I'm waiting to see how the ecosystem will show in the next Google update; Googlebot seems to be spidering the stats pages rather violently right now. Perhaps it's trying to get them all read before the next update?
